  Asteria 3.0™

  Asteria 3.0™ is an evolution of the 2.0, which provides micro-compression and better coverage than its predecessor. Asteria is utilized in many of Giordana’s jersey panels for its ability to block UV rays, and quickly move perspiration away from the wearer’s skin.

  Revolution™

  Revolution™ is a compression fabric used on the shoulders, waistband, and pockets of some premium jerseys to aid in performance. The result in an aerodynamic muscle supporting fit that other microfibers simply can't achieve.

  HC-50™

  HC-50™ takes HC-44™ to another level by providing added compression with a higher threads per centimeter count. HC refers to the fabric’s High Compression rate, while 50 designates the number of threads per centimeter. HC-50’s ultra compact knit translates into lighter weight, yet offers the performance enhancing benefits of higher compression rates, usually found only in heavier fabrics.

  190 E™

  190 E™ is a mesh like elastic material; inspired by technology used in the medical industry it allows the skin to breathe while providing full coverage and light compression.  This cutting edge material is now used as a leg band on several shorts and bib shorts in the 2015 Giordana line.

  Cirro OmniForm

  The Cirro O.F. pad has been specifically designed for Giordana's top-of-the-line bibs and shorts. The thickness varies and is 14mm at its maximum. The uppermost layer utilizes a special Nylon microfiber that incorporates Aloe Vera. The Aloe is permanently infused into the threads of the microfiber during the manufacturing process. The integrated Aloe cools, protects and even heals the skin while the rider is in the saddle. In addition, Aloe Vera is a natural defender against bacteria. Below this uppermost layer is a 4mm thick expanded memory foam with a waffled texture that aids in ventilation and perspiration management by moving moisture to the outside of the short where it can evaporate rapidly. Underneath the upper layers is an 8mm thick highly ventilated open cell padding that is handsewn to the materials above, which is cut to a unique smaller shape that protects and supports the rider at crucial points against the saddle.
